I was sent medical request form, but strangely it wasn't immediately after it expired. I thought it would be an immediate automated medicals request. I got the request after about 2 weeks from expiration date.

Hopefully they extend yours, I didn't ask for an extension... Have you gotten any reply to your email?
Ok so I suppose I ca expect same within 2 weeks.

EXP (visa officer) did not respond about extending validity.
Only response was about background check status.

It is even more difficult to explain these things in detail. I have already shared a detailed information on this before and I can't find a link at the moment.

In short, files are allocated according to something called as IR PNP Triage which is not known to you but only seen by the officer through Internal Records and this fact is also stated in GCMS Notes as well. So, some files with same AOR date and Transfer Date may see a different pattern due to files referred in separate Triage.

I hope this will help.

Mine additional document stated : are being reviewed after ip2. Yesterday it changed to "do not need " what stage is it? Shall I expect it to change to not applicable? Or am I close to ppr kindly guide

Hello everyone,
Any update on the files whose additional documents section changed from “donot need additional documents” to “not applicable” yesterday?

Hello sis,
I’m very much perturbed by what’s going on. Don’t know what will become of our files. Yesterday my additional documents section changed from donot need additional documents to not applicable.

That's strange..

Good day to you all. I am an FSW Outland applicant whose application is being processed at the London visa office.
AOR is 30 July 2017
FTD October 2017

I sent an email to LVO in February when my application became 6 months and got a reply from VCM that "your application is awaiting final review with the immigration officer". However, despite massive IP2s yesterday my background check remains the same "Your application is in progress. we will send you a message when we start your background check." The only update I got yesterday was my Review of additional documents which changed to not applicable. I am at a loss as to why I am still in IP1 because I thought when a file is awaiting final review then all documents including the background check is ready.

Any thoughts on my situation would be appreciated.

Your PCCs might involve a final review. Not clearing IP1 suggests that.

Only those applicants whose documents were pending to be reviewed by the officer is seeing the status of Not Applicable instead of We do not need additional documents. This is also an indication of the fact that this is not a technical glitch but the real-time status of the applicants' profiles.

Background:

Files were already being reviewed at Local Visa Offices and many pending documents were already reviewed by officers. However, due to system upgrading, it was not getting updated in your profiles.

Now the latest update from IRCC means all pending profiles are updated and we have seen massive IP2 yesterday with some applicants seeing Not Applicable Status in ADR section as well.

NA Impact:
In the past, I have seen a trend of applicants profile changing back to We do not need additional documents from Not Applicable few days before File is approved. However, there are also few cases where PPR was issued without any further change in accounts.

Conclusion:
If any applicants have a doubt on the status of their files that they can apply for GCMS Notes or email their Local Visa Offices to confirm the status of their files.

I hope this will help. Good Luck.
Thanks for your insight. It's been really helpful

Yes sure that does. Thanks for the info. Would like to know more about this triage though.

Nishant.

For those whose review of additional documents section changed to not applicable:
Has anyone’s status changed back to donot need additional documents?

Any update from 27 Feb ip2 applicants? How long will the first PPR take given it was such a big batch of us.

One of my friend who’s visa office was New delhi told me , it is usually 5-10 days . Although his ppr came after 15 days, considering that fact Mr Trudeau was on his visit to India .
