Hi All,
Just a quick question.
I have been on IP2 since sept 1 and I am yet to receive the golden mail or any request for additional documents. Does it usually take more than a month after IP2 to receive the PPR mail?
I would appreciate to know if there are other people who have been in the IP2 stage for more than a month and are still waiting to receive PPR mail. Thanks
I have been IP2 since August 24.

yes i do receive it but still my security and eligibility is not started according to notes, only medical, funds criteria, education, ielts and criminality is cleared. i will order another set by next week, hopefully will have some development till that time.

Hi everyone!
It has been a long, long wait but I think we have received the news.. I have a message that we need to send our passports..
But my passport (principal applicant) is valid till Feb 1st 2018. We want to enter the country on Dec 30 (and just stay for a week) cause our medical will expire in Jan. Would there be any problem with this validity? Two weeks ago I sent an email to the address mentioned in the letter, LDNIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca, but no response yet. What do you guys think?
Sorry I haven't been active In the forum yet but look at my timeline.. I lost the motivation a few months ago..

Thanks for the wishes @yewwy.
I think my file was transferred to London from Nova Scotia around the 1st week in August.
Looking forward to celebrating with you too very soon.

Ingeb I can imagine someone being turned off after experiencing such a long wait but thank God it ended well. Congratulations

I am not sure about this because I know that usually CIC expects you to have your passport valid for a certain duration. I advise that you quickly send your passport for stamping and as planned, travel in December. That means you will have to arrange for someone to send your card to you. I think your plan is fine but maybe you can ask for further advise on the forum on landing in Canada since London has refused to reply your mail.
