was just wondering how did u get the PPR with in a week from ur application waiting to be reviewed by an officer.

i received a similar kind of reply from London Visa Office but my file was only transferred about 2 weeks ago and my background check has not started yet.

I have been on IP2 since sept 1 and I am yet to receive the golden mail or any request for additional documents. Does it usually take more than a month after IP2 to receive the PPR mail?
I would appreciate to know if there are other people who have been in the IP2 stage for more than a month and are still waiting to receive PPR mail. Thanks

Just a quick question.

There’s really no standard for this. Some people on the forum speculate that if you spend a long time on NA2, then IP2 becomes shorter and vice versa. But really there’s no proof. A lot of people even receive PPR email and their BG status is still at NA or IP and only changes afrer CoPR. The only guaranteed way to know what’s really happening is by ordering GCMS notes.

Thanks Bro. I really can't say how my application moved. I kept on praying for an officer to act and I sent London visa office a 3rd mail on the 23rd of September which I got a response to on the 28th that my file was currently with an officer and pending review.
Some people have experienced this, when file leaves Ottawa office, it's either passed/recommend passed/met... But when it gets to Local visa office it is reversed back to not started. You can check on the forum ALL ABOUT GCMS NOTES (with Legal Falcon)...
I wish you a speedy PPR, in some cases some files are quickly sorted out... So just keep up the faith and try to be patient with London visa office.
