Hello rkeys, how long has your BGC been in progress. Mine has been in progress for 4 weeks now.

My BGC was in progress since 22-Dec-2016 when they send request for Schedule A + travel history.. No update in my BGC since then!

I am also from Pakistan but I living in a european country. Background check status is under processing. ("We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information").

It might be that PCC verification from Pakistan takes too much time which is causing the delay.. But cannot say for sure as I have PCC from 3 countries, so it might take some time in my case.

PNP and Pakistan.......... London office do not like both of these. But at least your bCG is in progress. For me no update since 16 December. BCG Not applicable from 3 months and 20 days.

I don't think there is any benefit in contacting until you reach 6 months timeline.. Even CIC says clearly that they will not respond to the queries for those applications that has not exceeded their normal processing time.

Its almost 7 months since I got AOR.

I am Oct applicant.. PNP Outland.. AOR 16-Oct-2016. I am also waiting and will be reaching 6 month timeline in 12 days. Last update was schedule A request on 22-Dec-2016 from LVO which I provided in first week of Jan. Since then no update.

Last update was Medical declared passed on 17th Feb 2017 .....since then no news

I sent them email on 28 March and they replied after 4 hours that they have not yet started processing my file.
It can give you a bit of satisfaction. u should send them an email

Batool, Did you contact CIC? sent any CSE or email to london?
I know 5 paper based applicants from Pakistan, they got ppr from London in 5 months 18 days.

they are sleeping from last 2 months. issued very few pprs during this time (may be 10,15)

Everybody who have crossed 4 months!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, we should send lvo a polite email asking for our status. I guess we are 15,20 ppl who have crossed 4 months. So if all of us (separately) will ask them our app status, they might wake up and start some processing.
There is no harm in politely asking for your app status.

I had the same for the page that has Associations in.
Nothing to worry about..
A friend who had it too for the same page got ppr in 3 months
