Hello Guys,

I received my PPR on the 21st of April, I am from a visa except country so sent my passport photos etc to London, arriving on the 29th. I still haven't received my COPR, can anybody else with a similar timeline let me know if this is the norm?

Did you get your CoPR since your post? I am wondering how long I might have to wait! Just over a week so I know I just need to be patient but not very good at it!

Dear XXX:
This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to
continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:

 > Passport/Travel Document: A copy of your valid passport and those of
your dependants. A copy of the biopage will be sufficient. This must be received at this

All documents must be accompanied by English or French translations. When original
documents are requested, notarised documents are not acceptable.

Is this the normal PPR format? I've not received a "Ready for Visa" email.

Note that I'm a UK citizen so I don't think I need to send my actual passport since I don't need a visa to travel to Canada.

Guys, did anyone receive an extension beyond the 30 days for submitting the passports to get the VISA? I received a request to submit my passport within 30 days but i will be abroad at this time?

I sent them an email, but the automatic reply said i should expect an answer within 28 days!!!

How long did it take for you to receive COPR?
I too have sent my documents to London vo as I'm visa exempt.
Mine should arrive there on 14th Nov
