London Visa Applicants - From Pakistan

I updated my doc in May 2013 (Applied in April 2012) but after that strike happened in offices .......so till date there is not response and I did not send any email assuming they are working on 2010 applicants.........

I applied for FSW under Arranged Employment Opinion in Oct 2012 to Central Intake office (CIO), Sydney, Nova Scotia and received approval letter/ file No in December 2012. My Visa Office is London(LVO). Since then my status is showing "In Process" on online and no any further letter or email received to my so far with the passage of 13 months .
Can any one tell me? when I will get further letter/ email from LVO. Secondly how i can sure that my file was transferred from CIO, Sydney to London visa office.

I would be highly obliged in this regard.

Mr. Awan now you will receive a letter for updated doc. usuallly it comes after one year of app or after 15 month .....which includes all your fresh forms and some doc. from employer have to submit in 60 days .....what kind of your doc i try to find that and share with you .........

Mr. Awan below is a sample letter you have to prepare over a request and you should start thinking about it right now .........soon you will receive an email from LVO .....and your status is in porcess so it confirms your file is in LVO ......

This refers to the application for permanent residence in Canada for the above applicant.

We require the following to be sent to this office within 60 days:

-updated IMM8, Schedule A, IMM5406 and IMM5562E forms for your client and spouse **the Schedule A forms must be accurately completed up to date and should not show any gaps in dates. Q8 and 12 must be completed from age 18. The forms can be downloaded from our website www.cic.gc.ca**

-a current job offer letter from the prospective employer in Canada, explaining in detail: exactly what is the job on offer (position, duties, salary, place in company, etc.) and offering employment on a full time and indeterminate basis
-documentation from the prospective employer to demonstrate that their business operations are ongoing and will be able to provide your client with sustained employment if he/she obtains an immigrant visa. Such documentation could include: photographs of their business premises, business licence/registration, payroll, recent tax statements, trading accounts, company history, etc. The employer may already have provided similar information to Service Canada, but it is required now in the context of evaluating the genuineness of the job offer as part of your client's visa application. The employer should include details of any other foreign nationals they have hired after having obtained a job confirmation from Service Canada. The employer may send this information directly to our office .

-a full and detailed explanation from the prospective employer of the process by which the vacancy came about in the employer's company, why an employee is being sought from outside Canada, and how your client was found to qualify for and subsequently offered the job

-a letter from you explaining in detail the process by which he/she obtained the job offer from Canada

-a full and detailed explanation from you how his/her qualifications and experience are relevant to the job being offered, and how he/she will be able to perform the job in Canada.

Minister cannot interefere in Visa Office

Well that is only partially correct. Minister cannot interfere with individual cases, however he has been given full authority to govern all administrative matters related to immigration (which include delays on large number of cases). Though immigration officers are part of the foreign services and not Citizenship and Immigration ministry, the minister can still take strong measures as per law.

Thats all we can do try, trying might do something, Doing nothing will, I guarantee, do nothing.

Well if we are talking about the previous minister, then I fully agree with you. His policy focus was more on canceling PR status of people abusing the Canadian system (I must admit, even I agree with this), rather then promoting further immigration to Canada. The new one minister has been on the job for about 4 months, so hard to tell what his policy direction will be.
