London TRV (Tourist Visa) - Shall I give up all hope now?

I am a third country citizen with ILR in UK. Applied to London office for visitor visa for a skiing holiday based on processing time listed on website. Biometrics submitted on 7 Feb and acknowledged on my application. Since then no news. Have filled webform twice, got generic reply to one of them. Flight is on 25/3 (48 hours’ time). My husband and kids don’t need a canada visa. The holiday is for 2 weeks - do I give up hope now?
