No, I haven’t. Has anyone did the Oath in December received it?same for me, Have you receive your certificate?
A valid pr card is not a must for a ceremony however you will need it to return to canada to do the ceremony as you have to be in the country. How long does London office take to respond? We sent an email asking for an update on 22nd December. I am a July 2019 applicant.
Our PR cards are expiring on 5th February 2022. We have completed the Citizenship tests in September 2021.
Any advice? Is a valid PR card a must for the Oath Ceremony? We are currently in the UK and unable to return to Canada to renew the cards.
Thank you very much.

You don't need to be in Canada to renew your card; just do the necessary paperwork and submit it. But note that a new card will be sent only to a Canadian address, and you would then have to make your own arrangements to get it in the UK. Also important is that there is no way you will be able to get a new card by that date. If you wish to travel after 5 Feb but before you get a new card, you will have to get a Permanent Resident Travel Document. How long does London office take to respond?
