London office Update letter recieved any advice please

Finally I have recieved the update letter to send my documents, I have applied in July 2007. I appreciate your help and advice on the specific instructions or ways which will facilitate the processing through London office.

Good News! London office, as Long as you give them appropriate update on your life and background, (family/work) provide all requested documents ASAP then add other documents that you think will be helpful in your application process, they will respond promptly. They are issuing the 2007 applicants visas in recent weeks so fingers crossed for you and hope for the best.

Please I want to understand the process:
when you submit the required documents, then
they ask you for the Medical? and how long it takes for that if your documents are ok?
Then if you finish the medical they will ask you to send passports? and how long also does it take to issue the visa? or may be I do not understand well. I am worried becuase I may just stay here in UK for another 8 months so I am leaving

Wow 8 months, thats right about the time it will take to complete the whole process from submition to visa stamping. Usually, when you send all your documents, they will write you back and acknowledgment after 2 or 1 and a 1/2 week. In this letter they will indicate that i would take within 8 months from the date of the acknowledgment letter (AOR). Some cases are less than that though. I have seen cases that took 4 months from documents submission to Visa stamping, especially the old cases that are being updated and processed. As long as you give them all the correct, accurate and Honest details the case will be finished in no time. Mine is still in Process at the moment, I applied March, submitted my Docs in July 27. Please see all older (from 2007) applications at trackit.com that will give you an idea of time processing in London. It may take longer then 8 month, so make sure you provide all docs you have to support your application.
