Hello (or should I start saying "Hi"?)

I am doing the PNP through Quebec. Nominated by Quebec Oct 2012. London accept they received our app for PR January 2013. They started processing (they say) in November 2013. Medical reports requested and done in January 2014. Then asked for police reps and PRF (permanent residence fee) in Feb and these were received by them 20th Feb 2014. So, all I need to do is done and we are at the "end" of the process.

Does anybody have experience of how long they take to issue the visa, after payment of the PRF?

Thanks.

I have now heard that upon receipt of:

...new photos

...new schedule of our info

...copy photo page of passports

...then the COPR will be issued by London! For readers and those who are waiting, this took about 6 months after paying the Perm Residence Fee.

They will get the above on Monday (11th). Anybody got experience of how long they take to send the COPR after that and do they send it by letter post or by e-mail?

Thanks.

Andrew

So basically, or if I asked you to give me your example....

How long, from submission of application to the CIC in London to getting your Immigration Visa does it take? 18Months? 24months?

If you are still waiting for the visa to be received, then please confirm how long it took from applying through to being asked to send in your passports (As that would mean you are home and dry anyway)?

Thanks

Please check time lines at left side of your screen.
Good luck

Hey guys,

I just checked the processing times for London on CIC's website and it says 33 months now - does that mean 33 months from getting AOR from London until you have your PR? Very long time....

Yup and it is AVERAGE time. some lucky ones get earlier and some more delayed.

I think the new express entry works much faster. We submitted in Jan 16 and got PR issued in May 16. Had to send uk passport into the CIC office with some passport sized pics (they ask you to use some visa service, it's a scam for more money to be taken I think). Got passports back with PR papers within 2 weeks. Landing for a day in a month.

Good luck all

Hi guys

I am PEI nominee and have applied for PR via express entry. My AOR is 20th April 2016. I received a letter in my cic account asking for RPRF. In the letter it stated that I've cleared eligibility and that only my security and criminality is ongoing. They req Payment to be paid within 7 days not 30 as others.

Does this mean PPR is imminent?

Also eligibility does that cover NOCs, reference letters and proof of funds ?

Thank you

Yup. I applied Jan. 25th but I'm not sure if my file is at LVO yet. I think it got there a few days ago. I'll know for sure if they add another line in ECAS or send me an email.

Hi All,

I am in need of some guidance:

I had filed my application on 10th Jul and AoR is dated 25th Jul from UK. Indian citizen.

My application is since then stuck on "Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check."

I had made a call around 10 days ago and was told that my application is being moved to London and rest all was a wasted discussion.

Is this normal and usual for an application to be stuck in this stage for so long, I believe as per this my BG has also not yet started which many above have stated may also take around 6 months.

Additional Info:

Review of eligibility: We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.

Review of medical results: You passed the medical exam.

I am completely boggled with what is going on and looking for some advice.

Many Thanks.
