If that is the case of dropping the pp and pickup, than it surely is a good service. What abt paying fee for resident fee. I have read on this forum that we can pay online these days.

Hi,

No you can't pay RPRF fee online, I have just today received an email back from Ottawa which stated the following:

Hi,

You will need to pay London by bankers draft only for RPRF. We can issue a refund for your HPM receipt R******** directly on the credit card…used for payment. please advise?

Thanks and have a nice day!

Yes I was advised in a different forum on this website to use bank drafts for all fee payments in the process. It takes away the hassle of any potential delays due to card expiry, cancellations etc.

Hi sorry but you have missed the point, you can make the payment, but you can't use the receipt unless your credit card is issued in Canada. If you card was out of date or had insufficient funds the payment would not go through when you make the online payment via the CIC website. It dose not make sense to me, you have paid CIC by credit card, but they want you to pay by cheque? Why bother advertising online payments or allowing your credit to be charged if they are not going to accept it, they should have a warning in red before you make the payment.

Has anyone noticed that they can't access E-Cas once your application reaches London? I was able to access E-CAS last week but now it says I am not recognised. I think once your application reaches London they take you off E-CAS until they start to process. Anyone else found this? My AOR from Sydney was received on 23 Jan, so I expect my application to have arrived in London and put in the pile. Good luck everyone.

Regards

Andrew

My ecas has been working OK since i received AOR from CIO. It kept showing application received until a few days ago. now it says in process.

I can't access e-cas as well as of now. I was able to access it previously. Is this peculiar to London VO?

Just to let you know guys that once you get your PPR, London office gives you an option of coming to the Embassy and submitting the passport by hand. You can then collect it after exactly 2 weeks. I thought this was a great service level, especially for people living near London.

I personally sent mine by post as I live almost 3 hours away from London.

London has one of the best services. They even respond to email enquiry within a few days...... although the website says 20 something days for general enquiries response. I think the applicants who have been alloted London are really lucky. Good luck to all.

I have posted a question in a new forum. If anyone here knows the answer can you please comment? Thanks.

I got my passport back with issued visa today. I hope for quick progress of all your applications too. I must say this is good service from London office. From doing my medicals it took less than 3 months to get the passport back with visa.
