yes i totally agree with Satish..people who are on an employment visa which is a temporary visa, however in my case i am an Indian citizen and usually travel within the GCC (Gulf) region for my company's work as my company has an office overseas..so i can't just hand over the passport for more than two weeks..i guess.

i have to think on that afterwards...first let me apply

Actually i m scared as i have taken leave for 3 weeks bcoz i was not able to get my passport from compnay

until unless i m take vacations

Bcoz i thought it would take max 3 weeks as i read in different forums

But as i saw ur case it seems they wil take longer than my expectations

Anyway we can do only one thing which is wait

You will have to submit on a "Thursday" and collection is exactly 10working days later!( 3rd -thursday after submission)
There is no fast track to this!

Thats good information dear!!! As per you... if we took a 10 plus days holiday in London.... everything will be over!!! (including our pocket!!)... Just joking.... But I seriously thinking in that way.....

Is it true that if a person can get a visit visa to UK and personally hand over the passport for stamping and receive it on the spot or after few hours...

No. This has been answered by Qorax before. Personally dropping passports schedule to London CHC is on a Thursday. Then you can get your passport back with the visa in it 14 days after that. They require one Thursday in between the Thursday when you dropped the passport and the Thursday when you get back your passport.
...Hope I remembered it right...You may confirm this with Qorax.

Me too surprised what hurdle is there when all the things r already done
