I would like to thank everybody in this forum for their assistance and encouragement. Today I received my passports with the visa. I am too happy

I submitted my passport in person on the 11th and visa was issued on the 12th and collected it on the 18th.

Ecas showed DM on tuesday 16th.

I am planning to go in the first week of September and will be landing in Toronto.

Hi sorry for late reply actually i was too busy in celebrating
Well the riots were not very far from where I live but it was mostly looting from the shops and then burning them down. People living above the shops have suffered the most. Well things have calmed down now. No reports of any riots in westminister where Canadian Embassy is. So nothing to worry.

Here's what I sent them to ask for status update:

I received my PPR in response to my recent inquiry. They didn't send it in a new email but instead, as a reply to the last email (inquiry) I sent.

I applied directly and not through a consultant.
