@Necomer: Thnx to reply, i m agree with u that nobody know how long they take for Background/Security check . After submitting my medical i email them regarding time frame but they told that we are doing BG/Security check when it finish we will let u know but i think it takes bit longer for me bkz i lived in London as well.

Yes you are right ,more number of countries visited/lived increases the duration of BG checks as they have to check with authorities of more countries ,which surely takes more time.But still I think you should expect your PPR to arrive within 6 months.

Dear All / Nectar ,

I am a new comer on this forum , my immigration story is quite different to each other i submitted my Docs in June 2007 (FSW-SAP) and got AOR in July 2007. At that time i was living in London. After that i moved in Pakistan on Oct 2009 and changed my address. My estatus was continuing showing IN-Process but suddenly in May,2010 when i checked my e-status its changed into DECISION MADE. I quite surprised how they made decision bkz i submitted only my application form along with fees (SAP). I wrote an email and asked them they told me that 1 year ago we send u a letter and requested to submit docs but u didn't response on that letter. I replied and told that u didnt send letter via signed mail (which i read in forum that they send via normal air mail) so how can u claim that i received that letter if u have any proof that i received this letter so plz show me.

After that they re-opened my case and give me one month to submit all docs. I submitted all docs including UK police cert as well and they send me medical forms in May 2011, i did my medical and waiting for PPR.

Could u plz tell me that i will get PPR1 then PPR2 or instruct to submit my passport in CHC london bkz i submitted my case in CHC london not in CHC Islamabad and approx how long will they take to issue me PPR?

All the applicants based in Pakistan must get PHEP in two phases i.e.,

1- updated chart, photographs and passport biodata page photo copies to PHEP Processings CHC London. 2- PR visa issuance from CHC Islamabad.

Security checks timeframe may fall within 2-6 months in normal circumstances.

I received today CAIPS notes.
They entered medicals as M01 and BFD date 14/07/2011.
So I dont know when shall I receive my PPR.

Hi Elie

It means that your meds are cleared ,in my view wait for atleast 2 more weeks ,if you dont receive PPR by then ,you should send an email enquiry as usually CIC takes from 15-30 days to act after BFD.

some good news today . My ecase status has changed to DM and I am expecting my passport to be back in few days . This means that some progress is there for 2007 applications .

Wish you all the luck .

I will share with you how many days it took them to stamp and send the PP back when I receive mine .

Dear sunny any news foR ur status? For me I got my CAIPS medicals areentered nothing new except BFd date is 14/07/2011. I will wait until the first week of august and will send another email to CHC
