I again got the same reply for my inquiry " Please be advised your file awaiting review by immigration officer" unluckily no PPR for me. I was so excited from the past few days that our turn has come up with this address disappearing thing also going around now I am so disappointed. I guess luck is not on my side. Good luck to everybody.

Dont get disappointed ,infact CHC london and one can expect anything anytime.Dont you remember replies sent to K77 and mlgarcia by London .K77 got PPR after only 3 days of getting the same reply and mlgarcia after almost 10 days.
So stay positive, I m sure your file is just waiting for the final decision and inshaAllah both you and Elie will get it very soon. As your address is still missing I think your file might be getting reviewed nowadays.

Dear sunny,
Two hours ago, I received a reply from the CHC London stating that my file is awaiting for background review by an immigration officer.
I was depressed as well. But finally, we have to be patient and to strengthen our faith in God. Sooner or later, we will have the PPR. So let's be patient. We have already waited 4 years, no problem if we wait couple of months.

Its a good sign that your file is waiting for a background review, it means that your BG checks must have been finished and its pending for just a final review ,so be positive inshaALLah soon you ll get it.

Regarding QA interview bro ,if you are UK based then there is a strong chance that you will get an interview date this summer,infact atleast 3 of UK based Ottawa applicants got their QA interviews in July (2 of them have already got PPR on the same day).But if you are outside UK/M.E. based there is a chance that your interview will be conducted in Fall of 2011 as the IO will have to fly to ME for conducting interviews.In my view there is no harm in sending an enquiry to London regarding date of your interview
especially if your meds are near to expiry.Moreover if you are ME based and your meds might expire by Fall, you should request London office to arrange an early interview date for you to avoid med expiry.

BTW when did you do your meds?

Regarding getting more info on QA interviews follow posts of M+JM,Likhon,Nectar,Camberwell and ericznet.

Many thanks for the good wishes.
Yes all applicants irrespective of their application date can check their e-cas status through CIC website.It is highly recommended to check e-cas status regularly especially if you are expecting an update such as MR and PPR.
