No problem dude.. they said they have to still conclude some "BACK GROUND CHECKS".
So once that is over, they will issue the visa.

today I receive this e-mail from London

"This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

To date, we have not received the updated Yemen police certificates for you and your spouse that you advised were delivered to this office on 2 Feb 11.

This email serves as a second request. Please forward new updated Yemen police certificates to this office within 45 days.

Please note: your medical results expire on 27 September 2011 and will not be extended. We therefore advise you to forward replacement police certificates as soon as possible."

I m sorry for hearing about the last e mail from CHC requesting repeating PCC again .
I did repeated my PCC as you did before.and did not get response from there side till moment.
I just registered here to confirm with you certain issues

1) have you sent your immigration file number with the last package of PCC?
2) please print the last 2 emails from CHC and attach them to your correspondence and also please highlight with yellow text-marker your file number .
3) scan the PCC and the last email and send them as attachment through case specific inquiry.

I am an applicant of London office waiting for PPR.I need to ask how much recent should be the photographs for visa issuance sent with Passports.I have got many photographs for me and my family which are the copies of same photographs which I send to London office with my initial docs in October 2009 ,almost more than one and a half years ago.Should these copies will be fine or should I get new/latest photographs.Anyone submitting photographs of more than one year duration and got the visa.

Never send any photographs which you have already used for any purpose with the related embassy, VO etc.
I suggest you make new photographs and send them, till this time when they are going to issue you visa do not take any risk by doing some thing careless like this.
An I think they require 4 photographs for each applicant, even if you submit one extra they are not going to reject your application but do not submit less than they require,

Don't worry. Everything is on track. In fact CHC London is now in a way obligated to process your application and send en-sha-Allah the PPR at the soonest as they conceded their mistake. GOD works in his mysterious ways and it is always for the better, its just that at times it does not appear to be so. Hold on tight for just a little longer and you will be through.

I am also an applicant of London office.I received the reply from London that my file is awaiting for a review in January & Feb 2011 but there was no mentioning of completion of B/G checks ,till now I am waiting for PPR.Did London themselves mentioned in their email that your B/G checks are completed .I am asking that still I am confused whether my B/G checks are completed or not so need a clearification from you.

Yes, they mentioned in reply that background checks are now complete and file is in queue for review by VO.
