there is one issue i would like others to be aware of. CHC London requests to submit passports for everyone of the family, and this is different from what i noticed previously at this forum. adding a child to parents passport is not acceptable anymore (as per the email i received). so others who would like to expedite the process once they receive PPR should take this into consideration and issue seperate passport all family members....

With the Grace of Almighty Allah( Al HAmdo Lelah) I received the passports today with the shiny maple leaf sticker on it. I would like to thanks every one in this forum for their support an encouragement through out the waiting period.

Now the serious thinking about the relocation, job search and settlement issue etc.. started. I will depend on your posts , support and advices to overcome these issues as well.

I sent case specific enquiry a week ago. CHC,London has not replied yet. They last replied me in Jan, 2011 mentioning my application is under routine background check. I have been living in the UK for the last nine years and my home country is India. I never travelled anywhere else.

My police clerance certificate was issued from the district police's office(India). The certificate was issued by an IPS officer. Can anyone clarify when CSIS make a detailed scrutiny of the security issues do they contact Indian High Commission or the district police who has issued the certificate? What the procedure they pursue to complete the background check? I have seen CHC,London replied to somebody the background check process depends how cooperative is the Government officials of another countries.

put the situation in YEMEN (my country ) is not stable

the courier service (DHL , FEDEX , ARAMEX ) from Yemen to U.K is still blocked .

so , I want to be prepared for PPR .

I will send my PP , photos and the regular doc. requested with PPR with my brother in law to KSA , and from there he will send it to one of my friends in U.K

so my questions are

1- is sending PP from KSA to persons in U.K (NOT to Canadian high commission) legal and allowed (I`m not resident in KSA )?
2- can any one give me form for authorizing letter to receive the PP?

I sent inquiry but no response from London V.O
