Praise God! Just few minutes ago my status changed to "DECISION MADE". I am very happy. FriendS, I will continue to pray for all of us to receive our PR visa. God Bless everyone.

God is so amazing! Got my passport with the shiny maple leaf just a while ago. Received it on the same day my ECAS status changed to DM. The visa was stamped on May 9, 2011. Actually there was no delay in the stamping of the visa. The delay was the updating of the ECAS which happened only today! People who got DM today, your passports are on its way!!!

And for people who have sent their passports for visa stamping, cheer up my friend as CHC does not want to hold your passort for long. They are true to their word that they will return your passport in 4-6 weeks time.

To all my brothers in this forum.

Before anyone pushes the "worry button" after seeing my timeline (fast transition from medical to PPR to the visa stamping and receipt of passport), please let it be known that I got a job offer and a positive LMO duly approved by HRSDC which I integrated to my PR application. I submitted it in January 2011 with a cover letter requesting them to expedite my application. In the letter I also asked them to give me the estimated time when they can finalize my PR, otherwise if it will still take time, I would file for working visa application. They did not reply but sent me the medical request forms instead and since then every step was just fast.
Before getting the job offer, I went through a very complicated and costly process of having my nursing degree accredited in Canada and to get the eligibility to sit for the Canadian Registered Nurse Examination. I got the eligibility, and in September 2010, I went to Canada just to sit for the licensure exam. Backgound and Security checks were also done by the nursing regulating body of the province of Manitoba as part of the process. With the grace of God, I was able to pass the exam, and when I got my Canadian Registered Nurse license, I sent a copy also to CHC London.
My file was sleeping for quite sometime until I submitted to CHC my job offer, positive LMO and my Canadian Registered Nurse License. So friends, nothing is wrong with your applications. because you did your medicals ahead of Aspire and Aspire got the visa now while you to this date are still waiting for your PPR to come.
Finally, jobs in Canada are not in the newspapers. Most of the jobs posted in the papers already have applicants filledin the position, it is in the papers because it is a requirement by HRSDC before they will approve the LMO. I believe the best way to find job in Canada is through networking. Contact friends and relatives in Canada and ask for jobs. I did it and I got it.

First of all many congrats!

Your case actually took around 2+ years to finalize, this is the normal time to process a case, currently most of 2009 applicants are at final stage. so I don't think your job letter had some influence. (this is my opinion)......
