Canada Visa Application Refusal Explanations:
It wasn’t easy to accept your (visa officer) decision but your judgment is the last one which stands out without any doubt. I believe you were not able to go through my application properly and as a result you took a decision based on your gut feelings without assessing properly my explanations, logic's and statement of purposes.
I’m not satisfied that you are not satisfied. I don’t think I will be able to satisfy you because you may take decision again based on my age and questioning my intentions to study.
I know it doesn’t matter how I explain because it seems you didn’t review my application by the merit of application. I’d explained pretty much everything in my last application and I’m sure you didn’t get a chance to read it out properly. It appears your decision was pre-determined.
You maybe simply screened few documents and took an abrupt decision otherwise your notes in the CIPAS would’ve been different.
Let’s come back to the point.
Limited information on business activities: I’ve explained what I’m doing with this consultancy business and also attached business trade license, business bank account to understand the business standings. It appears it’s not enough for you. For your better understanding I’m attaching few of our “certificate of representations/participations” with this application which will give you an idea of my business establishment. My business plan has also briefed in the last app. And also inward remittance certificate from Bank for XXXXXX (business a/c).
You’ve shown your concern in the notes “unclear why app would leave business at this point and who would take of it” – I’ve clearly explained this on my last study plan/visa explanation letter “My wife will be joining my business during my studies in Canada”. In fact, she’s already involved with the business. I assume you didn’t get a chance to read that.
Unclear how a short certificate in the same field would improve career prospects: properly explained in the last visa application EXPLANATIONS (u can check again). In brief, again it is not a typical certificate course. It’s an advance level graduate certificate course and Digital marketing is such a degree which constantly changes its syllabus due to rapid changes in technology. This is not Business management, Mathematics or Physics that you keep following universal laws for decades after decades. The changes in Digital Marketing and technology is constant. In every 6-12 months Marketing specialists need to learn from the beginning and adapt with the changes. So if you studied Google SEO in June-Dec 2019 that is totally outdated now. That SEO strategy won’t give you expected result you want.
Course fees may wipe out most of the savings: I’ve a regular business and that produce regular incomes (already mentioned my wife will take over my business while I study). So that personal savings I kept for my tuition and living expenses only. Besides my father agreed to pay my rest of the fees. Most likely I do not need to use my personal funds. I had shown a FIXED deposit and Monthly deposit account as well. Which will eventually give me back up. Besides me & my wife have a joint account to cover my family needs for future (source already explained: my wife’s past employment savings and wedding gifts accumulated funds). Besides I’ve my own apartment along with my parents inherited property which haven’t distributed yet among my siblings.
Apps savings acc generally shows low balance with large deposits from Mar-Jun 2020. Limited info on sources. I explained all the large deposits was bank transfer from “XXXXXX” business account to my personal “XXXXXXX” in The City Bank as part of my business profit. Definitely I reserved that fund for my study purposes. That’s why I provided both personal and business a/c statements for your understanding. Once you cross check both account you’ll see most of the CityTouch transfer is same from bus a/c to personal a/c.
In general, I would like to conclude with your last statement “I’m not satisfied that applicant is not applying for unknown reasons other than study” which I totally disagree with you. I do not want to waste my time and money by studying MBA or A Proper Masters course just for the sake of visa. I rather applied to a course which I’m passionate about and want to make myself competent in the area of expertise. If I had other intentions, I would’ve apply to different category with my wife. We both carry enough weigh for other type of immigration. I’m the only son of my parents and I lived 7 years in abroad so I have gathered enough experience. I don’t have the luxury to experiment with my life at this stage. I’m confident and I know what exactly I need to study in order to enrich my career.
You can refuse my application again if you want but I’m not going to change my desired course which will significantly benefit my career aspirations.
