Hello everyone!

In the express entry application, work experience history, what should I fill in country/city for my job if it was remote job in different country? Should I put where the company is located or where I physically was at that time?

Anyone?
Just would like to know or read an article to understand what they mean, address of the company, or address of where you live...

In your case, you should put your physical location at the time.
And the employment reference letter from the company should state that you were working for them remotely.

Maybe it can be helpful for someone - I got answer from IRCC twitter account and they said I should put my physical location, so definitely don't put company's address.
Thanks for this. Do you happen to have any screenshot of the twitter response. If yes can you also post that.

Hello - same situation here. It has been mentioned on my work permit that employment location is Vancouver, but I have been working for them from Toronto remotely. I was thinking of putting Vancouver as it is legally written on my permit. Any idea ? Have you guys been successful with your PR applications ?

I was in a similar situation when I applied. I had job experience and a reference letter from a company in the UK while I never been to the UK myself. I only mentioned my physical location at the time and included a reference letter & business card of the employer with the company's address in the UK.

You will be asked for a provincial ID when submitting and also employer can be contacted. So be aware.

Do not lie. You are supposed to be living in Vancouver as per your WP. If remote work is possible there would be no need to live in Canada and be given a WP.

Thank you for the answer!

For Work History, under the field City/town, can I input multiple city names with commas separating them? These cities are in the same country. I constantly have to be in those two cities during that same period. Like, go to head office in the morning in City A and then the client side in the afternoon in City B.
