LMO - WHAT KIND OF EMPLOYERS CAN APPLY FOR AN LMO?

Dear friends,
I have received some offers of sponsorship via LMO way, from a few employers but their nature of work and scope of activities have raised some concerns,although they are from the same field of work as mine.
Is there a list of requirements on part of EMPLOYERS for applying for an LMO with respect to the following?:
1. No. of years in business
2. no.of current employees
3. annual turnover
4. previous or (specially) current LMO applications in process,if any
5. licenses,certifications etc. held by the company
etc.etc.

As this work experience will form the basis for PR application in future,I want to confirm that working for this employer wouldn't be futile later on and the work experience will be acknowledged.

LMO's are granted to companies based on a number of criteria - part of the process is to prove why they need a foreign worker and to demonstrate that no other Canadian can or is able to do the work.

If you have any concerns about the companies then you should look at the number of people they have on work permit already and find out what support their HR will give you during and after the process
