even when i tracked my application/lmo confirmation i received email confirming that : YOUR LMO APPLICATION HAS BEEN SUCCESSFULLY PROCESSED:
msg was included with LMO issue and expiry date it mean lawyer has created fraud site

There is no LMO tracker site.

Only the employer who submitted the LMO can request the status. They have to call CIC if they want to find out the status of the LMO (there is no web site for them to use).

I don't know about TWP.

You shouldn't have to pay anything for an LMO. If you have to pay money - I would be very concerned that it's a scam.

TRUE. For low-skilled NOC of temporary workers, no money must be involve unless you are ready and about to lodge your visa application.
Please be highly concerned that in any effect before or after obtaining a positive LMO, no amount of money must be demanded.
Study the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website to answer all your questions about working temporarily in Canada.
A lot of links there that leads to Service Canada and Human Resources and Skills Development Canada websites wherein genuine information about foreign workers are imperative for us to read, study and learn.

Attention Honey Angel. !

I can help you in finding whether the documents are original or not, or simply your consultants is doing a scam or not.

I have completed all these formalities on my own after consulting several immigration consultants and lawyers and never signed/hired any of them.
All information is available on hrsdc canada website and cic.gc.ca, you may call the helpline numbers and by giving your name and date of birth can verify your so called approvals.

You can share your so called work permit document number which is printed on top most right corner of document usually in format BB 143-XXX-XXX with CIC helpline and they will right away tell you the originality of document.

I think you pay a small fee (approx $15?) over and above the CIC processing fees. The real advantage comes if you have to have an interview. In that case, they arrange for you to have the interview in the city where you submitted your docs, saving you the time and costs of flying to ND.

What is your "lawyer's" name? Where in Canada do they claim to practice law? It is very easy to confirm whether or not someone who claims to be a lawyer is one or not...

I myself am a lawyer, so if you provide his name and the location in which he claims to practice law, I can confirm for you whether he is in fact a lawyer licensed to practice law in that location.

Agree Scylla that an employee cannot be charged for getting an LMO, etc., but charging for putting together the application is not illegal. I have heard of Canadian lawyers charging $2,500 to submit a visa app (after LMO obtained) and for the same work an Indian lawyer quoted $9,000.
In this OP's situation I do not know if the person is legit or not, but I wanted to validate VFS and its association with the Canadian Embassy. Honeyangel: Before you signed the contract, did the lawyer not give you the costs involved and when payments would be due?

1. Contact the agency that processed your payment and put a stop on it if possible. 2. File report with RCMP http://www.rcmp-grc.gc.ca/qc/index-eng.htm 3. Contact the Quebec Bar Association. If someone is practising law illegally they will investigate. Good Luck and I hope everything turns out OK.

Definitely a scam. There is no Daniel Billard licensed to practice law in Quebec, where this person claims to be practicing law. The web-site looks off to me as well. I note that although he claims to be practicing law in Quebec, he then says he's a member of the "Law Society of Upper Canada", which is the ONTARIO law society, not Quebec's law society. Secondly, in the web-site he claims to be licensed by the "Government of Canada" to practice immigration law. Lawyers in Canada are licensed by PROVINCIAL law societies (e.g. Alberta, British Columbia). We do not receive licenses from the "Government of Canada".

Dear Mr. Niwolf,

Sorry for the late response. The agency that supposed to hire me is Global Acess HR and they give me a link to track my LMO, when I see this website it make me confuse because it is not the same on the real website. The process is good and nice but when they ask me to pay for something. If it is true then they will send me by courrier the real LMO and my relatives there in Canada also try to call the number that they give me but no one is anwering.
Is there a company name: Larger Energy? in Canada? Because this is the company that I supposed to work. I also try to search by google but I cannot find this company.

I am sure this is fake. there is no site to track lmo
you can ask them to send original copy of lmo
do not send them any payment once you are not confirm about the job vacancy
you can email me if further guidance required
