Hi!

Apologies if this is an FAQ...

My partner and I are in about to apply for our LMO's...

My question is, upon HRSDC's receiving of our LMO applications will we be supplied reference numbers that we can use for the purpose of applying simultaneously for our Work Permits?

Thanks TONS for any help offered!!!!

1. I have to assume that you have an employer applying for your LMOs, since you can't apply. If it is approved by HRSDC, then you will be issued an approval letter, which you can use to obtain a work permit.

Yeah, perhaps i wasnt specific enough; our employers are indeed the ones applying, my question is upon receiving (not after approving) the application will HRSDC supply a reference number for the application.

I only ask because Ive heard one can submit a WORK PERMIT application simultaneously with an LMO so that the processing can begin on the WORK PERMIT and save time on the end result.

Confirm? deny? Smatter with some experience?

thanks

Seems that CIC is no longer accepting concurrent processing no matter the NOC code. You'll have to wait for the LMO and send it together with the required documents when you send your WP applicatiion.

I think that I would go with what CIC has on their web site, rather than what the call centre clerk stated. But sent it if you wish.
