Hi,
My employer submit an unamed LMO (NOC 2173) for Alberta about 11 weeks ago, the lawyer insists that it is taking 10 weeks in average, even I called Service Canada yesterday and they mention 8 weeks!! SO guys your cases are abnormal or everybody is having such huge delays?
 
Yea I don't get it either. Next week will be 6month for me. How can Services Canada say 8weeks, when the majority waits at at least 20weeks to 7month.
Maybe they read 8weeks of a paper from last year.

Another LMO was rejected last week. This was the job I wanted the most of them all. Now, I have to either wait for them to re-apply and get another LMO or I have to stick with one of my other alternative offers whose LMOs are pending (that's IF they get a positive LMO).

Submission date: October 31, 2013
Result: Denied February 14, 2014
Location: British Columbia
NOC code: 6711
 
Been waiting since November 2013, (4months now) however CIC respond pre-approval for my LMO application (October 25,2013), and had received an update news last week than my LMO probably will get within a month. i am hoping for the best and praying with faith to God.
 
Someone just posted in the 2013 Processing Time thread that their LMO for Live-In Caregiver took only 5 weeks to get processed.

Good news for us future nannies! :D
 
I've seen that the processing times for LMO when submitted online is faster. Has anyone asked their employer to register for the online service and submit the application this way?

My employer has applied for LMO, NOC 2173, Alberta the second week of Dec-2013 and on Friday we have received the +ve LMO. It's still unamed LMO
