LMO or workpermit needed for a permanent offer? AINP. Decision made

Hi,

I am provincial nominee with PR application processed up to decision made and waiting for PPR. I have been given a permanent offer but not sure whether there is a work permit needed for a permanent offer or an LMO?. Work permits are usually for term contracts?.

Current work permit is expiring on March20th so not sure whether I should get an extension based on permanent offer? I am with the same employer since PGWP on term contracts.

Well my job offer also said permanent long term, and i have applied with that. Waiting for work permit extention now. I don't think its a big issue
