LMO Change

I have a question and was hoping someone may be able to help. We had applied for a LMO to sponsor a live-in caregiver. The LM O was approved in December and all documents were forwarded to the nanny so that she could apply for her visa. Her application was submitted at the end of January and is still being processed.

We received a call from the nanny last week indicating that she is now pregnant, and will not be able to come. Now my question is, do I need to get a new LMO if I want to sponsor another person for the same job, or is there nay way to notify the authorities and change the applicant's name?

Your best bet is to contact Service Canada and ask for their advice. If you provide proof that your first nanny is no longer available for the job (correspondence if you have it), you could ask them to cancel the LMO and issue a new one. There's no guarantee this will work but good luck.
