I'm really not understanding this. Your NOC is what best describes your actual occupation/job duties, and if the NOC is not classified as skilled, then wage is completely irrelevant.

There is only one NOC that best matches your job duties, if you need help figuring out what your NOC is, and many people do, then post your job duties. Wage is not a requirement of CEC, but an NOC that corresponds with your actual work IS a requirement.

But if you're playing games with job duties and NOCs, then, good luck, the VOs are pretty good at spotting cheats.
Both NOCs are skill type A, without doubt.

he's got open work permit from IEC, he has worked under NOC type A for one whole year, just that he thought the other NOC type A which is more specific (specialist vs officer) will get a higher chance to get a positive LMO. Turned out he's out of luck even though he got all the skills.

LMO is just an intended job, there is no cheat at all.

LOL, what and who are you talking about? Sorry, was confusing your post with the OP's situation. I think what you're asking is, will the LMO application (that was refused) have any impact on your friend's CEC application? If that's the question, the answer is easy - No, no impact.

I agree with jes. I don't think LMO refusal has any impacts on CEC application.
