NOC: 7293

LMO submitted: mid february
Result: july 17th rejected

we do not know what is the reason, we just received this inforamtion from company (we are not now in Canada). Just want to add that the company many times successfully passed the whole LMO proces, so it is something related to new regulations.
and we still have second application
NOC: 7283
Province: AB
LMO submitted: mid april
Result: still waiting...
but I have bad feeling....

Aika1987, was your job low wage? You said you suspect that the new regulations lead to refusal and the low wage category was the most affected that why I ask.

Don't lose hope luv.

both are above AB medium wages - rejected was with wage 29$/hour. I suspect that the new regulations lead to refusal, because company previously get the LMO without problem

Ok. The company should ask though, especially since they've not had issues in the past. Perhaps the cap on number of foreign workers was the deal breaker. We can only guess since we don't have the info.

I will keep my fingers crossed for your other job.

thank you ButterflyChemist! I will need this, but I have a bad feeling about this.
About the cap on number of foreign workers as a refusal reason - is also my guess, but it doesn't matter now.

No problem Scarlett_R. Are you waiting on approval of a LMO/LMIA. When did you apply? What's your province?

My province is Alberta and there is a company telling me that they had sent an application for a LMO before the new regulations but it hasn't been approved yet.

The LMO is unnamed but they offered me the option to take it once is approved,

It will be for food counter attendant.

Ps: sorry about the long time to reply

Hi i am an internatinal student and completed my education. I now have 3 years work permit. I am in the touch with an employer who is offering me supervisior job. I don't have any previous work experience. So my question is am i eligble for lmia straight away or i have to work in this company for 1 year before i can apply for lmia.
