Duration of employment on LMO/LMIA

The duration of employment is written as 2yrs on LMIA, although, my spouse is offered a permanent job. Is this normal? Does this only mean she has to re-apply after 2yrs(i know she has to). No where in the LMO there is note on permanent job offer.

Note- This is a LMO meant only for tfw.

If the employer told Service Canada that the job was temporary and if it was classified as high wage, then the duration of employment on the LMIA would be two years. This is the new standard practice.
