LMIA the worst immigration process I even seen in so called First World

Hello All,

I am waiting from 12th May 2014 for this LMIA process, I am seriously frustrated , why HRSDC department has this program when they are not sure to give result in time, there is no time frame, when my employer is calling them they are saying we are working and will provide you result in a week or so, they took $1000 from each one of us and not giving us any sigh at all.
 
Why did you pay $1000 if then it was only $275? They received mine June 2nd and my fee was $275. Anyway, did you apply for any previous programs or has the company hiring you applied for other LMO/LMIAs close to yours?

LMOs/LMIAs are now $1,000. They have been for several months now.

As I can see you are VIP member of this Forum, the same question I want to ask you, HRSDC told us that after paying $1000 your process will be finish within few weeks, and even till now, like me there are bunch of people waiting for this time consuming process, whey HRSDC is deceiving people and telling fictitious things?
 
I forgot to add one more thing to it, is if you are not confident enough to give someone +ve LMIA then stop playing around with future of someone, tell them clearly that we can not do anything, and stop fooling

Based on what I've seen on this forum LMIA processing time is more like three months these days.

Yes 6 mths altogether but the employer would have had to re-submit app forms when the LMO changed to LMIA with the extra information needed.

This process is infinite man, people are going crazy, but still this process doesn't have any timeline nothing , it just keep on going and going, very disgusting people
 
Btw, LMIA is not an immigration process, as well as TFWP is not an immigration programm

What do you mean by "they took $1000 from each one of us"? You, as the potential employee, do not pay anything towards the cost of the LMO / LMIA. If you have been asked to pay, it's possible that you are being scammed.
