It can take weeks and months. Standard processing is probably around 3 months. Has employer followed up with EDSC? Are you in Canada and still need to apply for a closed work permit?I got a Job as a frontend developer in BC.
The company submitted an LMIA application since Jan 8th 2023. up till today it still says queued for assessment.

Make sure you have all documentation (ECA, Language, reference letters) ready to go. If LMIA is approved, it will be another 3-5 months for approval.I’m in South Africa

2 weeks is rarely met. Faster than general processing but could take months.
