I am already working a high-wage job (NOC: A , 2141) via Post-grad work permit (which was LMIA exempt). My employer doesn't mind applying for work permit. But we are confused about the job-posting/advertisements. I obtained the job when it was already advertised. The tried hiring PR/citizens in the past. But, they had a lot of difficulty find the right person because it's a warehouse environment and can be challenging at times. Also the job is an Engineering job meaning it requires:
- Engineering Degree (Preferrably from Canada
- Engineering license (EIT, or P.Eng eligibility)
- Expertise in troubleshooting testing machines (Requires a lot of training).
I have all the above.

Do I still need to advertise it? Aside from the job bank, where else can I advertise it?

Yes - it still needs to be advertised if you want to get an approved LMIA.

Advertising requirements can be found here: http://www.esdc.gc.ca/en/foreign_workers/hire/median_wage/high/recruitment.page

Note that your employer has to apply for the LMIA, not you. So yes, THEY have to advertise it and document their efforts to hire a Canadian, according to the rules. See the link that scylla posted.
