Hi everyone,
My LMIA got refused today.
Reason SC gave was not sufficient proof for advertisement.
My question is " Is it possible to apeal" or does it worth it or I have to follow the whole process again.
LMIA submitted was for Asistant retail manager NOC 0621 wage $25/hour.
Please help If anyone knows what to do.
Thanks

1, No formal appeal, the employer could contact ESDC otherwise it is start from the beginning with proper advertising.

Since the advertisement requirement was stated to be the reason for refusal, could you mention how your employer advertised the position? Where was the posting and for how long?

Hi evanstp9,
He advertised on job bank, allstarjobs.ca and albertasuperads.com,
He started the job posting process 3 months before the submission of file and kept updating it regularly.
We never let it expired even though SC took 6 month to reply back.

We started advertisement in April2015. File submitted in july 2015 and received by SC on 16th August.
Then they did a foreign worker audit of my employer.
Dec 7,2015 they opened my file. Dec 18th requested additional documents.
Jan 13 2015 they said decision has been made then after couple of days they called back and asked for advertisement proof, which we submitted with proper date and duration mentions on it.

albertasuperads.com won't be accepted as an acceptable advertising forum. It's the equivalent of kijiji or craigslist - neither of which are accepted. So your employer didn't meet the minimum advertising requirement and the LMIA was correctly refused.

I think you need to advertise on Target Ads.
