Hi guys...

My employer is willing to file my lmia but to speed up the processing time, they are thinking to apply for the position that will last less than 120 days instead of permanent one, as I have some project that needs to be completed within this year.

My question is... even though it's project position that will last for less than 120 days, will I be granted 600 points in EE?

Any experts advice is appreciated!!!

No. See information below:

For Federal Skilled Worker Program

have wages and working conditions comparable to those offered to Canadians working in the occupation.

Thanks guys!!

I saw that the regular lmia is taking more than 4 months... is that the trend these days or different case by case?

If the employer submits lmia app by online will it be faster?

If your employer hasnt even listed the open position yet, then it will definitely take some time, as they have to show that they have made every attempt at finding a Canadian for the position first, before they can apply for LMIA.

So how long it takes in your case, also depends at what stage of the process your employer is at this point.

Has he listed the position on several public sites?

How long has it been listed for?

...

We havent started yet at all.

I am aware that the job needs to be advertised for at least a month before applying.

I am just wondering about the processing time once the app is submitted... because if it takes about four months I am not sure if its worth it cuz my crs is 463 and waiting for ITA and am very hopeful to get it later in this year... as it will be just a few more months to start my job earlier
