LMIA processing times for live in caregiver

Hello

New here abd I'm looking to hire a foreign living in care giver. Yet to apply for LMIA but wondering if there is a any mandated requirement to interview in Canada applicants, prior to making an offer to a foreign applicant.

you have to show proofs that you try to hire canadians or applicants in canada.. so it will be nice to show you interviewed them.. if thats what your asking @jay10

Its not supposed to take that long. Follow up with your employer so they can call esdc to inquire about the file.
