Woohoo! Congraturations!!! You can have a great Christmas now :)
Can I ask you what is you NOC??
Unfortunately, we didn't get any news today... Ah well, that is what we expected anyway!
Let's hope we hear something on January!

Have a great Christmas and happy new year everybody!!

Thats so silly. They have been awful
The canadian govt should seriously consider a new NOC under very highly skilled worker category called LMIA processor

Yes, they really need that!!! LOL

Re: LMIA processig time Toronto

Hey I got lmo in 1 month.
Now can u tell what would be next process?
Also can I check lmo online status?

Happy new year guys, I hope all of you had a great holiday.

New year started now, let's hope we will hear some good news soon.
So far, we don't get any...

@ Gurs,

Hi, sorry I don't understand your question...
You got your LMIA? Why you need to check the status of it now?
If you got a positive LMIA, then you can apply for WP or PR.
I need some more info to give you more advice...

Finally the wait is over!!!

NOC: 7272
Province: Ontario
Application sent: November 10 (dual intent LMIA)
File number: November 19
End date: February 6
Result: POSITIVE :D

Good luck everyone!!!

Hi guys,

Just wondering from where do you usually get this data:

1. Data in which application was sent to Service Canada (btw which department is responsible for LMIA issuing?)
2. File number and data when it was assigned to your application
3. Your Noc code your employer set in application
4. Salary wage (btw does that affect in any way app processing time? How? What's better if your wage exceeds median one or vice versa)

My employer haven't given any of these data. Just has been responding my app is still in progress. And it seemed to be sent around about September 2014. Gonna require all this data next week but before wanted to ask here if in general an employer has to provide such a feedback to me as an employee?

5. Where could I check my application status if I had file no?

Thanks for your replies.
Peace!

Anybody who got recently a Lmia in Ontario? Service Canada told us that the current processing time is 5-7 weeks.

Congrats Dan.
Did they ask for any extra info or got a straight approval?

all these information especially your NOC, wage, file number will all be on LMIA which will be received by your employer once they get a positive result. and you will get a copy of these when you will apply for your work permit

Windmill

when we applied for LMIA around october 2014, we received the result after 1 month. An agent from service Canda interviewed me via phone and after 5 business days we got our LMIA

Interviewed you? What did they ask?
