Hey Guys,

I'm in the middle of my process to apply for LMIA, tomorrow my job ad would be 28 days since we put it up, so I'd apply for LMIA in support for PR. My lawyer is saying that because of Corona Virus situation we should wait to apply, but what do you guys think?

If the unemployment rate skyrockets, which I suspect it will, I would not be surprised if they put EXTREMELY tight restrictions on the approval of LMIA’s

Hi. My employer applied for LMIA on 3rd April. I am still waiting. This is for Global Talent Stream A visa for Research Scientist position. Your LMIA seems to be processed quickly. What is the job position in your case and which visa class? Thanks a lot.

I’m not sure, I had a lawyer doing the paperwork for me so I’m not aware of all details, sorry My NOC is 1123 Marketing Specialist, we applied for lmia in support of pr but also paid the extra fee for the 2 year work permit.

Hi, am from US, can you please let me know the way of getting the GTS offer? any consultancy will help to get an offer from an employer or only it's possible through the job search?

I am not aware of any job consulting agency doing this. In my opinion, The best is to find a company for the position that you have skillset and experience.. If you are really needed for them and the company is qualified for GTS, then they will apply for lmia for you.
