Hello everyone,

So, I'm currently in Canada and was issued a one-year long Post-Graduate Work Permit. I finished a one-year program.

I'm working part-time and my employer was open to help me in obtaining permanent residency.

My question is, can my employer apply for an LMIA if I only work there part-time? If not, what options do you reckon I have to obtain permanent residency?

I only have a few months left on my PGWP, so the stress levels are high these days.

Any input will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

LMIA will only be issued for a full time job.

I believe for LMIA job needs to be permanent full time non seasonal.
You can look for nominations

Thank you for your reply.

Can you tell me a bit more about what you mean by nominations? Are you talking about Provincial nominations? If so, wouldn't I need a full-time job for that as well?

Thanks.

Hi
I am received LMIA With Confirmation no.9774848,

Please help me on above LMIA geniunity status

It's pretty much guaranteed to be a scam.

If they are offering you free food or flights or accommodations - it's a scam.

If they are asking you to pay money, it's a scam.

If you got the LMIA relatively easily / quickly, it's a scam

If they are telling you there is urgency in applying, it's a scam.
