Hello everyone. I am in the current situation

Physiotherapist, applying for EE (CEC) in September. LMIA in hands (+600 points). My husband has 1 Canadian certificate (8months), but both of us also have Post-Secondary education from back home (Bachelor's, for both)

I have used the following link to calculate my points (I am not sure how accurate this is): http://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html

Without credentials assessed (just considering the my husband's one year certificate from Canada), we accumulated 841 points.
With credential assessed, 981. My question is: from what you have seen, is it really necessary to get credentials assessed, considering my scenario?

We started to arrange everything for WES application and both our educational institution are not cooperating AT ALL with this process, so I was just wondering if it is necessary, considering our scenario.

Thank you so much

I would say not to do ECA since your points are really good. If you consider to do ECA, it will take another couple of months to get the report from WES. You might have to wait for few draw if the points are not within your range. Otherwise in next draw you will surely get ITA.

Do not waste your money. You will be invited in the next draw if the minimum points are still under 600.

Thank you so much! But when I am filling my profile, I would still mention our education correct?

Yes and it will ask if you have ECA and you'll say no. Also, put less than the required amount for funds so it will place you in the CEC category.

YamPower, thank you so much for your help. Can I bother with one more question?

Technically, I will complete one year of full-time employment on September 15th (including both my current occupation - Physiotherapist - and also my previous occupation - Physiotherapist Assistant). However I was going thorough my pay slips (I am paid every 2 weeks) and I got to find out that for 2 payment periods, I ended up working less than 60 hours (or 30 hours/week). I am able to provided CIC with reference letters for both positions, however I am afraid that they might request additional information.

Would you recommend waiting another month (so I can actually have 2 payment periods of a minimum of 60 hours)?
