Hello everyone. I am in the current situation

Physiotherapist, applying for EE (CEC) in September. LMIA in hands (+600 points). My husband has 1 Canadian certificate (8months), but both of us also have Post-Secondary education from back home (Bachelor’s, for both)

I have used the following link to calculate my points (I am not sure how accurate this is): http://www.canadavisa.com/comprehensive-ranking-score-calculator.html

Without credentials assessed (just considering the my husband’s one year certificate from Canada), we accumulated 841 points.
With credential assessed, 981. My question is: from what you have seen, is it really necessary to get credentials assessed, considering my scenario?

We started to arrange everything for WES application and both our educational institution are not cooperating AT ALL with this process, so I was just wondering if it is necessary, considering our scenario.

Thank you so much

No need. With LMIA (600 points) in hand, it is more than enough to get an ITA. Save the effort and start preparing all the documents. You will be surely invited in the next few draws.

BTW, please post EE-related questions to the EE section of the forum. Here is intended for old CEC applicants.
