Hi!! My application is already in Express pool from last 1.5 yrs, however since approx 400 points, not getting any calls.
My Employer asked me to work on Intercompny WP in Canada. Will this anyways help me?
Will Immigration policies will help me next year to get PR?
Also can my employer file do LMIA for WP, while 'm already working under Intercompany WP? Since that will give me points?

Suggest?

It won't get you any extra points however the employer could choose to start an lmia while you are there and then you would have 600.

Thanks!!

Is this legally possible to file for LMIA for WP, while you are on Intercompany WP?

Also my IELTS expiring Dec 16. Do I need to maintain my IELTS score in order to keep my application in pool? If yes, what min score I need to keep, since points difference between scoring 6 or 6.5 or 7 is not too big and if I get LMIA for WP - 600 points, that will be sufficient to secure my PR?

Suggest?

Yes - it's legally possible for your employer to apply for an LMIA.

Not immediately, but get at least one year of work experience in Canada, that will improve your score, as well as give you eligibility to apply through the CEC program.

Also can my employer file do LMIA for WP, while 'm already working under Intercompany WP? Since that will give me points?

Yes, your employer can apply for the LMIA...

Thanks scylla and Jes_On

Also please advise, since I need to give me English (IELTS) test again, as earlier is expiring Dec 16. What is the bare min. score I need to maintain? Seems my CEC points are 0 and now application in express pool is under FSW, so like to know, if I just need to maintain bare min to have my application in pool? Thgh I know higher the better :)

Thanks...

Minimum requirements for FSW are CLB 7. Min requirements for CEC depend on NOC: CLB 7 for NOC O or A, CLB 5 for NOC B.

All,

I just heard from my employer who was preparing to file WP for PR application, that normal WP (Intercompany WP) are now will also yield points for PR application. As per them this change has been brought very recently.

Is this true?

Yes. Read about the changes that were brought in on 19th November. 50 points now but you must have worked for the employer for a minimum of 12 months before you will get the points.

Read this article from CIC to understand better.

Thanks Guys,

Seems this change is for applicants who are already in Canada. My employer is starting this process (Intercompany WP) from next week. Thus not sure, if this change will help me?
