Hi I am Nikhil Sharma,

I have seen an advertisement on local news paper, and visited the consultant for two years of work permit.
According to him he can get positive LMIA of Qubic with the job office. For that they are charging of 500000.

Please guide me is it true or it's fake ?

I appreciate your help on this.

Regards,
Nikhil Sharma

Yeah...especially with you saying Quebec. That province has so many restrictions. It's always the whole of Canada and Quebec in terms of Immigration, Labor Laws, taxation and all such Government related matters. Are you French speaking? Why don't you study the Services Canada website for Quebec province and find out what kind of jobs are there in the job bank. Anyways I would not trust this consultant.

LMIA can only be provided by an employer, and this employer has to be a real organization and he needs to make an effort to convince Service Canada to give him positive LMIA.No consultant or lawyer can give you LMIA

LMIA can be applied only through employer. There is a point in paying the employer to start with LMIA but there is no point in paying a consultant. Also anyone can start the LMIA process but no one can guarantee

Thanks for sharing the information on this.

Consultant is talking about the Pre approved LMIA, and it's not from the company it's from the job placement agencies.

How LMIA works in Express Entry ? My overall score is 398.

The employer may indeed be working with job placement agencies, but, as mentioned above it is the employer who has or will have the LMIA, pre-approved or otherwise.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

A job with LMIA will add 600 points to your score in EE.

What is the NOC for the job? And do you speak French?

Thanks for sharing the details with me, I appreciate your time for the same.

My wife she is applying for the NOC : 4214 Early Childhood Educators and Assistants. We have applied for the FSW 2014 in the month of December. CIO send us the file back stating the DOB of spouse was not submited and when i have seen the file Document was there.

Now I am very confused what to do, I have applied for Express entry but all of sudden we are not eligible for no reason.

sorry but do not know the french.

So, if I understand correctly, it is you wife who would be applying for this job and who is potential eligible for the LMIA? What exactly is the job offer? I'd be interested in what the advertisement in your local paper actually said :)

Here's why I'm skeptical if she does not speak French: this is a link to a search on the Quebec job bank for Early childhood educators in the Montreal area:

http://placement.emploiquebec.gouv.qc.ca/mbe/ut/rechroffr/rechrcle.asp?mtcle=Early+childhood+educator&mtcleP1=Early+childhood+educator&pp=1&prov=http%3A%2F%2Fplacement%2Eemploiquebec%2Egouv%2Eqc%2Eca%2Fmbe%2Fut%2Frechroffr%2Ferechroffr%2Easp&date=3&creg=06&CL=english

As you will see, French is a requirement, even to read the advertisements. The only way I could see an LMIA being possible is if it's for a job in a private preschool/daycare with specific requirements (a language other than French or English, for example) that your wife might fill.

There ARE jobs in Quebec that do not require French, but they are very few and far between, and not usually in this field.

I hope this helps you, it is not intended to be negative.
