So you need the IEC and new employer specified work permit. Once you have worked on that employer specific work permit for one year, you can then claim points. Make sure your job is eligible for YP visa.
So I need to work another year after getting YP visa even though I have 1 year experience with the same company to claim to points? I am quite confused because I already have 1 year experience and will get YP visa from the same company.. I appreciate your help!

So basically, my current visa is PGWP and it will be expired next year. I have 20 months of work experience for one company on PGWP. Due to high CRS, (mine would be around 480 - 490ish), I was looking for the way to increase my crs and my manager told me that they can support me with young professional visa. I've heard that young professional visa will give me 50 more points. But, IRCC is confusing me in terms of the work experience. Do I get 50 points right after I got approved for young professional visa since I have 1 year experience on PGWP? Or, do I need to work another 1 year after getting young professional visa to count 1 year on current visa? This is so confusing me right now and getting too stressed out.. IRCC does not answer my call and the answers from law experts are all different. Since my PGWP will be done next year, I need urgent help.. Thank you!!
From my experience, what I heard from past applicants with the same background Is that you need 1 year experience with that employer, it could be done with a PGWP. As soon as you get your Young professional permit, you can claim the 50 points.

Oh, so I can get 50 points right after I get Young professional visa even though I have 1 year experience on PGWP. Thank you for your info. Would you mind if I ask do you know any cases that actually get pr in this way? Thank you

yes I know a few cases that were successful doing it this way. Have in consideration that I’m not a consultant, and previous experiences might differ with yours.
