Hi Guys,

Could anyone advise on my situation?
My CRS is 463 but my PGWP is expired, so currently waiting for ITA. But my employer is willing to file LMIA for me and bring me back to work.

I found based on my research that these days the LMIA is taking more than 4 months to be processed. FYI, my LMIA will a be high wage position.
I also read that if the position lasts less than 120 days, it will be processed within 10 business days, so am considering this option.
If I go for this option, I am aware that 600 points will not be granted. But my question is, if I get the 4 month (120 day) LMIA position approved, and then receive ITA with my existing CRS and applied for PR, am I eligible for BOWP?

I am a little confused cuz LMIA is a closed work permit, but BOWP is open work permit..
Also, considering my situation, would you guys recommend LMIA for permanent position, or 120 day position?

Please provide inputs...

Thank you!!!

That I don't know. But if you only have 4 months LMIA, will CIC give you only 4 months extension?

If I were you, I want to go for the permanent path.
