LMIA concern

Hi folks.

Im studying engineering, currently living outside of Canada. I havent finished my school yet and for multiple reasons I was planning on stopping university for at least a semester and go work in Canada for that period. I have already studied 1 year in a Canadian university and interned during this last summer for a company there. Since Id be applying without having finished my degree, I would consider myself a low skilled employee, and I fear that my LMIA would be rejected. But the fact that I got a couple of certifications from the company and that I already worked there once would help with the approval of the LMIA? Do I have chances, basically? Id also be the only TFW working on that company. Not sure if that helps.

Thank you all, this is a really great forum.

I didnt say that low skilled wont get LMIA, but I heard its harder, since its not as easy for the employer to prove that they can't find a Canadian employee with the same or better skills.

I know my employer personally, so he'd be hiring me directly, not through any agencies.

Yes - it's harder. Your employer will have to make sure they fully satisfy the advertising requirement to prove they need to hire a foreign worker and can't find a Canadian for the position.

Hey Guys, My employer was contacted today by Service Canada and asked to submit schedule C. But employer does not exactly know what to fill in that, If you have a copy of what you filled could you send it please. That would be a great help.

Thanks
