Hi

for 2 years i work as a shelf stocker then my work permit will expire on april 11th 2015, but luckily my LAMIA as a retail supervisor came out april 1st. so till now im waiting for my new work permit so i can start working already. my questions are LAMIA is only valid for 1 year so how can i apply for PR or express entry if only i will be eligible minimum 12 months skilled work, i dont have any skilled experience even in my previous work. and my employer is confusing me as she keeps on telling me i can apply my PR application because of the positive LAMIA i got but i cannot see any ways. she keeps on saying it will be different like a nanny program so im confused just want to know if you have any idea on what can i apply in the same year or do i need another 1 year LAMIA to support the first one please help thanks in advance... :D :)

You need to have one year of full time experience in a NOC A, B or 0 occupation to apply for either FSW or CEC under Express Entry. Having the LMIA isn't enough.

Get rid of your consultant - she doesn't know what she is doing.

thank you for your response so meaning i will be needing another LAMIA for the following year and that will be my 4th year so hopefully everything goes well or i will be affected by the 4 year timeline. best of luck

It depends where you are at now ...maybe you can consider to apply PNP.... except you are in Alberta now

LMIA Informatio

Hello everyone,

I am working as a electronics technician for one year in Alberta and my employer is ready to process LMIA for me. But my question is I have still 17 months work permit left So, Can my employer apply LMIA for me now or they have to wait

Thanks

I have more than 2 years of experience as a retail supervisor. I dont have a employer who can apply for LMIA.
My status as a worker is expired in sep 2015. Now i am a student again. Is dere anybody who can help. Ready to move anywhere

You can apply with express entry as retail supervisor noc is valid.
Provided you have enough points for ita.
