That’s encouraging... will post once I got the approval for my case...
My LIMA got approved and I got the new work permits from CBSA by doing flagpole in the border. Here is my timeline:
1. LMIA Application submitted on 19-July-2019
2. Approved on 22-Aug-2019 (Pls note that my attorney did frequently follow-ups and escalated the case on 20-Aug to get this done)
3. Crossed the border and informed US border agent that I am doing flagpole with my family (2 Adults and 2 kids) to get new work permit
4. US border agent noted down the details and provided a white slip with all the details. He did confirm that I don't need to consider this as rejection entry for US and ignore it while applying for any US visa.
5. I had to wait at CBSA office for almost 10 hours to get the new work permits based on positive LMIA
Note: Everyone in my family had valid Canada visa based on my current job so we were able to re-enter Canada without any issues. If you don't have valid visa in passport then you need to apply for work permits manually and it takes 8 weeks (i.e. assuming you are applying from Canada).
Thanks everyone for replying to my questions earlier.
