Awesome. Lucky you!
I'm applying again next week for the same NOC (2174) to Calgary. Which province are you going to?

I have applied for Ontario. The reason I believe mine was quick is because of the high wage. I have seen somewhere that LMIA process has two streams: low and high-wage streams, and that high wage ones should be quicker.

Btw, it's a dual intent LMIA

Yes, it means he already got the interview call and just waiting for the letter. You got it fast. Coz I heard recently they kinda slow down the process. Hope it's just a rumour. Wish everybody good luck!

God is good!

My application for LMIA was approved. NOC 6211 here in Calgary.

April 15, 2016: LMIA application submitted.
April 20, 2016: Requested lacking document. lacking document submitted by fax.
April 25, 2016: Employer interviewed.
May 4, 2016: LMIA approved.

This is my second attempt, I got rejected several months ago..

Persistence and Prayers always pays off.. ;D

Are you kidding?
don't you receive any file number?
it takes around 10-15 days to receive file number itself after the submission, i'm surprised to see your post.
mine noc6322 got rejected for the first time and it got approved on our second attempt which tooks around 2 and half months. i think noc6211 is low wages position same like 6322(cook). how is this possible?

Hello guys,

Does anyone knows if the Potential Employment (those Stars in the outlook section of specific position on Job Bank) is something that might affect the LMIA?
For my NOC 2174 is has 1 of 3 stars. It was 2 starts few weeks ago for Calgary. I wonder if this can be bad for the application.

Here's the meaning of one star out of three from the job bank website itself:

Limited:: This outlook is attributed to occupations where the short- to medium-term potential for employment is below average in the region, when compared with other occupations. This situation is often associated with slow or declining projected employment growth, weakness in related industry activity, and/or higher levels of unemployment, etc. This is a more challenging situation for job seekers, especially new entrants such as school-leavers and immigrants, and may indicate that the labour supply in the region exceeds the estimated number of employment opportunities for the outlook period.

Hope it'll help answering your question

Yeah... I've read this information before. I'd say that this is not very good for the application, but I don't know how strict they are regarding this information.
For instance, if anyone had a refused LMIA due to these stars.

Mine is high wage that is why I qualified for 10 business days processing standard.
