quick question (hope you guys can give me an advice) My work permit and TRV both expires December 31, 2014.. I wish to go anytime next week for a quick 3-5days trip to Mexico.. do you think I can still enter Canada border before or a week before Dec31? Will appreciate if anyone with the same experience can give advice.

Does any one know if you get approved and your name is on the LMIA, What the next step is is it as simple as leaving the country and re-entering with the paper work or do you have to do more after LMIA approved ?

Hii guys good news here LMIA has been approved yesterday, now looking forward to apply work permit

Hi Guys, my husband just got approved LMIA and he will apply for his work permit and open work permit for me. How long will it take to process the work permit? What is the chances we will got approved work permit? Is there any case that the work permit rejected even if LMIA approved? Please advise. Thanks.

He is under international mobility program even though in CIC website it indicates he should be exempted in LMIA. But due to recent changes in policies, our first work permit application was rejected due to LMIA. They required us to get LMIA. Thus the employer applied for LMIA and got it approved in 1 months and 1 week time.

Guys i do have a querry...my lmia for both work permit and immigration but i am nt going to apply for work permit as i do have implied status so cant apply for work permit in New York office .I am planning to apply under express entry so it make any difference to my PR application if i will nt apply for work permit?

My husband is a software engr. The employer is in Montreal, Quebec. Although his salary is below median which is 60K. The HR told us maybe we could be there by end of feb or beginning of march which depends to the work permit. Does anyone knows how long is the work permit processing and what are the chances we can get approved work permit this time? Thanks.
