Annoyingly the same day the file number was received, an email was also received stating incomplete paper work. I've been told not to worry about that. But still, it doesn't look like people in the same department at Service Canada communicate.

Whatt!!! That doesnt make sense at all man. Did they mention what was not filled in at least?

Incomplete forms 3 times? Man I would be losing my mind at my employer!

Ofcourse , i lost my mind. But at such situations we cant do anything than just to Shut Up. lol. More than thankful that the employer is kind enough to do all this again and again.

Did you get the file number by fax? Incomplete information by email?

Weird I thought fax was the only way with the online system being down
When we had to correct my forms my employer got an email, but I believe they had to fax it back. I think it's a DO NOT REPLY type email.

Hi Britinvancouver, I believe it was just a mistake at Service Canada end. I just had a chat with the employer who told me that yes he received an email saying incomplete paperwork on the same day as the file number coming through. After speaking to his lawyer who had contacted SC to which they said everything is in the system and that email was a mistake. As once you have the file number the system has all the information it needs, therefore there cannot be any more incomplete paperwork.

I am not sure how the file number was received, but with receiving the 'Incomplete paperwork' was by email.

This was also my understanding.

Once you have a file number and payment has been taken, they had everythjnthing they need to begin the next step

My company's immigration lawyer said he was dealing with 2-3 changes that service canada has made in past 2 weeks, now he will send application with new forms. He also changed noc code from 2243 wage 27$ to 7311 wage 30$ to be granted with 10-days speed service. I presume he was talking with SC and got approval for that. There is no need of advertising again for that noc change.

I spoke to my employer today, good news for Albertans waiting for their LMIA application. I have signed conditional employment contract last week (Thursday) because NOC change and 30$/h wage and I am not sure when did they sent papers to SC, but today he said to me that their account has been charged 2 days ago (not sure if they have received file number). So if they have sent it on Friday or Monday that's a quick progress. Best wishes for all of us 8)

Things move quick in Alberta it would seem. Apparently Alberta is crying out for them to change the tfw process because of how many jobs need filling

Hi Everyone,

my new potential employer filed for my LMIA on August 27. I do not know when they got charged but when I asked if they have been, they said yes last week (October 3). I am hoping to get approval tomorrow or next week (fingers crossed). My NOC is 0621 in Edmonton Alberta.

Good to know that I am not the only one who's case is being looked at so rapidly :) My employer is also from Edmonton.
I have been struggling almost 5 months now from my initial interview with my employer. Fingers crossed :D
